Visuals developed part of a residency at City of Asylum in Detroit, in collaboration with visual artist Erik Ruin. Erik and I worked on a series of live drawing and projections, where he projects Paper cuts and textures on top of my live drawings, to accompany the music set by Elsa Saade and Layale Chaker. We explored themes of love, grief, and political songs for this set.
